There will never be another close to David Cassidy. Loved and missed. My daughters know his music next my grandchildren. David is timeless. I honestly have to stop listening at work.. I am a blubbering fool. RIP Mr. So soft and beautiful! What a unique voice David had. He was the total package. Thanks for this May dear David Rest In Peace. He sang such beautiful songs! I can't believe all the feelings that come rushing back when I hear the songs from David's "Cherish" album.
I loved him so much! RIP, David Cassidy. God bless his time on Earth - I want our angel back. Marlyne Skaff Agree with everything you said, and yes us fans want our beautiful angel back, but if that means he will suffer all over again, then let him stay with the rest of the angels resting peacefully. Yes my dear marilyne! He is our angel now! What a voice, warm and sexy voice!!
You are truely missed David, thank you for sharing your wonderful talents with the world! We love you. I never really believed you could inherit alcoholism but I do believe it now. I think that's why my Dad stays away from alcohol he doesn't want to become alcholic like his Dad was. When i look at David Cassidy's pictures i remember my childhood. But also i see why non-whites hate white people. C Dream, do you believe, that all non-whites hate white people, or just some?
I can tell you, that David was loved, all over the world. He did concerts, in Asia, for example. He even had a hit record, in Japan with "Hurt So Bad," in the 80's. As for myself, I'm a non-white person, born here in NYC. There were lots of others, like us, who were there. The girls, at my school, both black and white loved him. I, however, continued being a fan, till this very day.
In fact, in the 70's, I got hassled, a lot by white guys, who were into rock and roll. They would call David names, like fag, homo and queer. Then, they would tell me, that he wouldn't go for anyone, like me, because of my race. I would correct their stupidity and ignorance. And, tell them, that they are just jealous, which they were. They couldn't deal with his fame, being loved and admired by all kinds of people, plus he was very handsome and extremely talented.
Guess, that made them feel insecure. Their problem, not mine. C Dream, I wonder, if you were hassled by some people, for being a fan. A lot of DC fans went through that, including some guys; who would be accused of being gay, without proof.
BTW, I just found, out that music producer, Quincy Jones said in an interview, that he always thought very highly of David; and felt that he was always being underrated, as an artist. I can imagine, the crap, that was given to him Quincy Jones , by industry insiders. What a fantastic night that one was. Thank you for the lovely memories. Mysweetobsession How did you get an invitation to his party?
Did you date him? I'm just curious because I met him too, but only a couple years ago. He still is handsome but very troubled. I hope he finds live before its to late. Love does cure alot. So happy to hear this I was just going thru my albums when I saw this song. I remembered loving this song. So I came to look. But the clock hands refuse to move It's dark inside my room It must be daylight soon Where is the morning? Where is the morning? David Cassidy Lyrics provided by SongLyrics.
